The messages contained within this site are, as we understand the Word of God (Holy Bible), and are not based on any denomination teachings. We encourage you to read the Word of God, and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal its truth to you. Christianity is not a religion; it is a personal relationship with God our Creator. In the book of Galatians 4:4-7 we read: “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” Therefore, at the time of new birth, received by believing in Jesus Christ, we become sons of God, and God becomes our Father. So, now we look at God as to a Father with whom we can have a personal relationship not a religion. This organization believes the Holy Bible to be the true inspired Word of God, and we entrust it in all decisions that pertain to life. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 we read: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Our name comes from Psalm 119:107 “I am afflicted very much; revive me, O Lord, according to your word” One evening, as I was meditating on this Psalm, I realized how afflicted I am, trying to live this new life in Christ. Constant thoughts, reactions, arguments, exclusions, headaches, lack of interest, circumstances etc, all these were and I should say are at work trying to give me reasons not to live the abundant life that Christ promised. The devil (deceiver) is working full time to show me that God’s promises are lies and they do not apply to me today. The promises were good for those people that lived back then in biblical times. I could not believe his lies, however, I needed help. I needed to be revived, brought back to life, and constantly renewed in the mind. This revival only comes from the Lord. I thought about how could the Lord revive me constantly. Well, I realized that this was only possible if I lived according to His Word. This psalm explained it so clearly. If I stayed constantly with my mind on His Word I was being revived continuously. God’s Word is unchanging not like my circumstances or me. God’s Word is the only thing in this world that I could rely on and will never let me down. In the book of Hebrews 4:12 we read: “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” The verse above is self-explanatory. So, I began to live in the Word and applied it to every situation and I mean every situation that came to me. I began to see the power that the Word of God carries and my life was never the same. Therefore, this organization was born and Revival begins with you and me individually. The words of Jesus finally came alive to me when He said in John 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” WOW! That is amazing. I began to see God at work, changing lives, healing diseases, and accomplishing the unbelievable. He started with my own family, and then moved to my immediate friends, and then to the rest of the people that I came in contact with. As I am allowing the Word to live in my life, my goals and my desires changed. Now, my reason to live is to tell others about Jesus and what He had done for me. Staying in the Word, reading it, meditating on it, using it in all your conversations will revive you continuously and you will be able to enjoy the abundant life the Jesus promised to us. In the book of John 10:10b we read: “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jeremiah 33:3 states: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” James 4:8a states: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” If you accepted Jesus the Son of God as your personal Savior, make a decision today to start living in the Word. Do not just read it. Live in it and allow God to perform the unthinkable in your life. If you have not accepted Jesus the Son of God as your Savior please visit the page "How to become a Christian." I thank you for taking the time to visit our site and I pray that the Lord Jesus may shine His face upon you and your family and fulfill the desires of your heart. Amen. | We are committed to teach the Gospel (good news) about Jesus Christ in its simplicity. Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:2 stated the following: “For I have determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” We simply exist to tell others about Jesus Christ. Our ministry is focused on working with current/former inmates in the prison system and with their families. We provide spiritual counseling, job search, office and life skills training, and we help with locating bible teaching churches where our brothers and sisters in Christ can grow and mature spiritually. |
